Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Inventory Controller to manage inventory operations across our retail and distribution network in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in inventory control within a retail and distribution environment, and strong expertise in ERP systems (ODOO and SAP). The role requires someone who is fluent in Arabic and English (reading, writing, and speaking) and capable of maintaining accurate inventory records, minimizing stock variances, and ensuring efficient inventory flow. Familiarity with inventory KPIs and performance monitoring tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage inventory levels across warehouses and retail outlets, ensuring accurate stock availability.
- Record and track all inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, returns, and adjustments, within the ERP systems (ODOO and SAP).
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies with system records.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate inventory reports for internal analysis and decision-making.
- Analyze inventory trends to identify issues such as stock shortages, overstock, and obsolete items, Slow Moving Items and fast moving Items.
- Coordinate closely with warehouse, procurement, and sales teams to ensure smooth stock movement and accurate documentation.
- Implement and maintain effective inventory control policies and procedures.
- Support the month-end and year-end inventory closing process by ensuring data integrity and timely reporting.
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Prepare detailed inventory reports and dashboards for management, including aging reports, turnover ratios, and stock movement analysis.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory management/control within a retail and distribution company in Saudi Arabia.
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems, specifically ODOO and SAP.
- Deep understanding of inventory processes, stock movement, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Fluent in Arabic and English (reading, writing, and speaking);
- Excellent attention to detail with strong data analysis and reporting skills.
- Strong organizational and coordination capabilities, with the ability to work across departments.
- Male ( Indian/Pakistani Nationality )
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools.
- Experience working with multi-location inventory environments.
- Familiarity with inventory KPIs and performance monitoring tools.
