Job description

The candidate must possess expertise/experience in the following domains:

  • Perform a variety of professional engineering duties in support of the construction project works, such as calculations and computations, and preparing project cost analysis, BOQ, drawings and specifications review, etc.
  • Participate in the review of contractor work activities and ensure compliance with contract obligations.
  • Review drawings, plans, Mechanical submissions, and other work details submitted by consultants and contractors for conformance with standards, authorities’ regulations, and work specifications.
  • Recognized proficiency in technical and commercial judgments in variations, claims, and new items.
  • Candidate should know the local authority’s requirements, regulations, the needed permits, and NOCs for the assigned projects.
  • Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
  • Manage day-to-day working, utilization, implementation, and technical consultants engaged in client assignments.
  • Responsible for managing multiple small to medium-sized projects, reporting status updates to ensure the successful completion of ongoing projects.
  • Produce reports on each project at agreed intervals and whenever substantive actions are required.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, etc. to determine the specifications and requirements of the project.
  • Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports
  • Review and evaluate regularly the progress reports submitted by the consultant/contractor.
  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
